The Savannah Antiques & Architecture WeekendThe Savannah Antiques & Architecture Weekend is two days of antiques and architecture in Savannah, GA to benefit The Andrew Low House and the Green-Meldrim House museums. Scheduled for March 3rd and 4th, 2017.

Come to Savannah on the first weekend of March for a variety of events centered around the architecture and antiques of historic Savannah homes … and beyond! Both the Andrew Low House and the Green-Meldrim House are National Historic Landmarks. During the Savannah Antiques & Architecture Weekend, you’ll have unprecedented exposure to the treasures found in these homes, around Savannah, and maybe even from your own home!

One of the many events planned for the weekend, “What’s In Your Attic?” features the opportunity to have items from your own home appraised! Who knows what you’ll discover? The Savannah Antiques & Architecture Weekend also includes a Live Auction and Cocktail Party with two stars from Antiques Roadshow, Lark Mason and Amanda Everard!

2017 Savannah Antiques & Architecture Weekend Schedule
Friday, March 3rd
“What’s in Your Attic?” Luncheon – 12pm
Enjoy lunch at The Chatham Club with a presentation by historian and attic exploration expert John Sheftall.

Cocktail Reception and Live Auction – 6:30pm
An evening of cocktails and conversation with celebrity appraisers and event sponsors in the Green-Meldrim House.

Saturday, March 4th
“What’s in Your Attic?” – 9:30am to 3:30pm
Bring in your own treasure for a verbal valuation by the experts at Cranmer Hall. Lark Mason will be here appraising Art and Asian Antiquities, Amanda Everard will be appraising Antiques and Decorative Arts), and jewelry expert, Jane Mullino, will be appraising Silver and Jewelry. One item per person only – great fun.

Architecture & Trolley Tour – 10am to 12:30pm and 12:30pm to 3pm
The Andrew Low House, the Green-Meldrim House, and St. John’s Church will be open for exclusive private tours highlighting 19th-century Savannah architect, John Norris, and the connections between this noble architecture. Old Town Trolley riders will be shown examples of additional Norris designs on the route between the houses.

Lunch & Learn Lecture – 11:30am to 1:30pm
Enjoy a Southern box lunch while hearing the intriguing stories behind original pieces from the families of the Green-Meldrim and Andrew Low houses. The lecture will include an assessment of the current market value of these objects.
