We are lucky to have a thriving arts community here in Savannah. Along with the Savannah College of Art and the Savannah Museum of Art, we have and countless other galleries and performance spaces. The upcoming Tybee Arts Association show and sale is a great way to see (and purchase) local art in a lovely seaside setting.
Tybee Arts Association Show and Sale

Taking place the weekend after Independence Day, July 5 -7, the Tybee Arts Building will showcase paintings, driftwood sculpture, fiber arts, stained glass, prints, jewelry, photographs, quilts, pottery, handmade furniture and more. The Tybee Arts Association supports the artistic community of the Greater Tybee Metro area through the Tybee Arts Performing Society, the Tybee Turtle Tour and Festival of the Arts, as well as participating in a variety of local events such as the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Admission is free and the sales takes place at Tybee Arts Association, #7 Cedarwood, Tybee Island, about a 30 minute drive from our Bed and Breakfast.

Savannah College of Art: Offering more degree programs and specializations than any other art and design university, SCAD prepares students for professional, creative careers. They have tons of interesting professional and student exhibits as well as public events with fascinating and renowned speakers. Check their calendar of events for your visit.
