March 19, 1825, the Marquis de Lafayette, a Revolutionary war hero paid a visit to Savannah to help honor and lay the foundations of monuments for two other war heroes; Count Casimir Pulaski and Nathaneal Greene. This French country inspired room is named for the Marquis.
