The 2015 Tybee Rainbow Fest Weekend, scheduled for May 1 – 3, is the 3rd annual return of this popular event and promises to be even more fun-filled than last year’s festival!
A hugely popular event, (previously Tybee Gay Days) 2015 Tybee Rainbow Fest Weekend is a great opportunity for LGBT visitors and residents to show their pride and have a great time on the sunny, spring-time Georgia coast as well as nearby, historic Savannah.
Here’s just a teasing sampler of this year’s events:
FRIDAY, MAY 1ST
Happy Hour at Coco’s Sunset Grill: 5pm – 7pm
Lazaretto Creek Marina, Old US Hwy 80
Free Entry for happy hour and complimentary hors d’oeuvres.
Tybee Rainbow Fest Weekend Kick-Off Party: 6:30pm
North Beach Grill, 33 Meddin Dr.
Party by the beach – the first 50 attendees get a free swag bag filled with goodies from sponsors.
SATURDAY, MAY 2ND
Beach Meet-Up: 10am – 2pm
Marlin Monroe’s, 404 Butler Ave.
Spend the day on the beach sipping cocktails and enjoying fresh seafood from Marlin Monroe’s.
Tybee Island Tour of Homes: 10am – 4pm
It’s the 18th annual Tybee Island Tour of Homes!
Tybee Rainbow Fest Parade: 3pm – 5pm
The parade will start at 4th Street, continue down Butler to Tybrisa, and end at Fannie’s on the Beach.
Marlin Monroe’s Party: 5pm – 3am
404 Butler Ave.
Party the night away at Marlin Monroe’s – Free entry!
Bernie’s Oyster Bar: 10pm – 3am
13 Tybrisa St
Bernie’s will be hosting a party with a Burlesque Show and DJ Vashti. Free entry – Donations for First City Network are appreciated.
SUNDAY, MAY 3RD
Sunday Brunch: 12pm – 2pm
Choose from three of Tybee Island’s outstanding restaurants and enjoy delicious, fresh coastal ingredients in an LGBT-friendly environment:

Help show your appreciation for Tybee Island’s hospitality by joining the Tybee Beautification Association to clean up the beach. Giving back feels sooooo good!
