Savannah VOICE Festival 2025 is a fairy‑tale summer celebration that promises an unforgettable journey into music and storytelling. The event celebrates 25 years of vocal excellence with family-friendly performances, grand operas, musicals, and master classes.
This year’s event celebrates 25 years of vocal excellence while supporting and showcasing the next generation of performers. Highlights include the World Premiere of Cinderella’s Royal Feast, a brand-new opera by Michael Ching. Audiences will also enjoy My Simple Wish, a concert of beloved Disney and Broadway tunes, arranged by celebrated composer David Friedman. A full-staged version of Verdi’s Rigoletto serves as the festival’s powerful finale.
2025 also sees a variety of joyous milestones. Maestro Sherrill Milnes celebrates not only his 90th birthday but also the 60th anniversary of his Metropolitan Opera debut. This year also marks the 25th year of VOICE Programs nurturing young vocal talent.
Savannah VOICE was founded in 2013 by Sherrill Milnes and soprano Maria Zouves as a nonprofit dedicated to vocal artistry. The festival showcases a spectrum of vocal styles over its two-week run each August, from classical opera to musical theater, and more. Performances are presented at a variety of venues in and around Savannah, GA – all within easy distance of our Savannah bed and breakfast, McMillan Inn.
