Celebrity chefs, cooking classes, live music, Taste of Savannah, and so much more. No wonder everyone loves the Savannah Food and Wine Festival!

The 2016 Savannah Food and Wine Festival continues its tradition of hosting a variety of events and attractions designed to highlight Savannah’s rich culinary community and history.

Though the Southern Provisions Dinner Series has been moved to January 2017 due to the effects of hurricane Matthew, there are still plenty of events to attend.

Whisky at the Whitman – Nov 8, 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Try some of the best brands of whiskey, bourbon, and scotch with culinary creations by top chefs and all at The Whitman Mansion.

Celebrity Chef Tour – Nov 9, 6pm Reception, 7pm Dinner
The Mansion on Forsyth Park’s chef Rich Beichner hosts an evening with some of best chefs in the southeast. Interact with award-winning chefs and savor excellent food and wine specialties. This year chefs include Anthony Lamas, Jonathan Waxman, Tory McPhail, and Scot Crawford.

Grand Reserve Tasting & Silent Auction – Nov 10, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Learn about and taste the finest wines that the festival has to offer. The silent auction will feature unique gifts, wine packages, luxury vacations, and more.

Secret Savannah Speakeasy – Nov 10, 8pm to 11pm
Meet Savannah’s taste makers with small-plate tastings, hand-crafted cocktails, craft beers, music, and entertainment reminiscent of Savannah’s prohibition heyday. Come in prohibition-era attire for a chance to win a 2017 Savannah Food and Wine Festival Weekend Package for Two.
The Bartenders Challenge Final Round will be held at the Speakeasy.

River Street Stroll – Nov 11, 5:30pm to 7:30pm
Enjoy a casual evening sampling wine, spirits, and Belgian beers. Bigger and better than last year, River Street Stroll 2016 features food by Paul Kennedy Catering and Savor Savannah with special demonstrations on the plaza stage.

Q-Masters, Chefs + Vets – Nov 11, 8pm to 11pm
Service Brewing Company hosts this new and highly anticipated event. The Q-Masters, Chefs + Vets event is a Veteran’s Day block party benefiting the Tiny House Project for Homeless Veterans. Guests will enjoy great live music while sampling a wide variety of BBQ creations and more.

The Taste of Savannah – Nov 12, 1pm to 5pm
The biggest event of the Savannah Food and Wine Festival, held this year at the Georgia State Railroad Museum. Taste of Savannah is wine exhibitors, food booths, cooking demonstrations, celebrity cookbook signings, an artisan market, beer garden, two stages and more.

Jazz and Bubbles Brunch – Nov. 13, 12pm to 3pm
The Savannah Food and Wine Festival comes to a close with the Sunday Jazz and Bubbles Brunch. Celebrate the festival with an afternoon brunch of live music and great champagne next to the Savannah River.
