Make plans now to attend Savannah VOICE Festival 2023! The much anticipated annual celebration involves two weeks of concerts and related events at a variety of venues in and around Savannah. August 6th through the 20th, 2023.
Whether you’re a fan of opera, musical theater, or just plain like vocal music, Savannah VOICE Festival 2023 is for you. The festival was founded by opera legend Sherrill Milnes and soprano Maria Zouves in 2013 and has only grown in both popularity and scope since.
2023 sees the 11th return of the Savannah VOICE Festival, celebrating the classical voice with a variety of musical performances from opera, musical theater, and song. The annual festival offers well over 25 performances and special events to attend. These include concerts, recitals, staged operas, food and wine events, masterclasses, and more.

This year’s event line-up includes both returning favorites and new features. The popular coffee concerts, sacred concert, and variety of masterclasses are back. We’ll also see a main opera production, a musical theater show, a studio production, and a featured artist recital.
Festival performances are presented at a variety of appropriate sites around Savannah. Past venues have included the Morris Center, Davenport House, Asbury Memorial Church, Telfair Academy, and the First Baptist Church.
Best of all, our Savannah bed and breakfast, McMillan Inn, is within easy distance of all performances. In fact, our location in the downtown historic district puts you in the center of the action, just two blocks from Forsyth Park.
The event regularly draws thousands to Savannah and 2023 should be no exception. Consequently, now is an excellent time to acquire accommodations before they are all snapped up.
