Spring must be approaching because Savannah Music Festival 2024 is just weeks away! The popular, three-week event is bringing another cross-genre collection of award-winning musicians to Savannah. March 23 through April 13, 2024.
2024 marks the 35th annual return of Georgia’s largest music festival, the Savannah Music Festival. This year’s event includes more than 40 performances over its three-week span. The diverse lineup of artists promises a unique mix of jazz, classical, and both American and global roots music.
This year’s festival kicks off with a concert by GRAMMY Award-winning jazz vocalist, Samara Jo. Other featured artists include soprano Renée Fleming, pianist Emanuel Ax, Bobby Rush, Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder, The North Mississippi Allstars, Chucho Valdés, and many others.
Festival performances are held in a variety of venues around Savannah’s National Historic Landmark District,. These include the Lucas Theatre, the Metal Building at Trustees’ Garden, the Trustees Theater, Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, Trinity United Methodist Church, Congregation Temple Mickve Israel, and Savannah Cultural Arts Center.
